Hey everyone! I have missed blogging so much. I am so beyond excited to share with everyone one of my most recent trips to Colorado! I had first planned my trip to visit my mother who lives in Denver for her birthday. I planned on being there for 4 days... Shortly after planning my trip, one of my newest brides Trang wrote me to let me know she just moved to Colorado springs! If you're not familiar with the area, Colorado Springs is about an hour or so south of Denver.. I also knew very close to Colorado Springs was this beautiful mountain called Pikes Peak. I mentioned to her we could take their engagement portraits there and we both go so excited!
So the day comes of the engagement session and I was kind of getting nervous due to all the rain that happened about 1-2 hours before our session time. Luckily enough for us, the rain quit and it gave us a perfect cloudy sky to begin taking the portraits. We met at the bottom of the mountain and drove up to Crystals peak where we began our session. Casey and Trang were absolutely precious and up for anything! I am so pleased with how these images came out. I am forever thankful for the both of them including me in this special moment.
